CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced the MAC Scholar-Athletes of the Week Wednesday afternoon (Dec. 11). Of those named, Bowling Green’s Javontae Campbell was named the MAC Male Scholar-Athlete of the Week. This is the second time Campbell has won the award and the fourth time this season BGSU has had an honoree. Volleyball’s Lauryn Hovey was named on Sept. 11 with women’s soccer’s Emma Stransky named on Sept. 18. Campbell is also the fourth player in the MAC to win the award twice this season. Student-Athletes can earn the award only twice a season, eliminating Campbell from future consideration.
