Eastern Michigan University student-athletes continued their success in the classroom during the Winter 2026 semester, posting the highest cumulative grade-point (GPA) average in department history with a 3.517. The mark surpassed the previous department record of 3.504 and marked the seventh consecutive semester EMU Athletics established a new cumulative GPA record. Additionally, all programs finished the semester with a cumulative GPA above 3.0 for the first time in department history.
